Henry C. Stevens, 85,1409 West Sixth street, died Thursday morning in his home following a sickness of eight weeks.

Mr. Stevens was born December 25, 1850, in Springville, N. Y. He moved to Pocahontas county, Ia., in 1876 and in 1906 moved to Sioux City where he spent the remainder of his life. He was engaged in the real estate business here, but retired several years ago.

Besides his widow, Mr. Stevens is survived by one son, Charles, of Sioux City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in Christy's funeral chapel at 711 Myrtle street. Rev. Joseph Steele, Jr., will officiate and burial will take place in Logan Park cemetery.
