3 March 1936James Albert Rowell, 53, 1121 Twenty-first street, a resident of Sioux City most of his life, died Sunday in Los Angeles following an extended sickness.
Mr. Rowell was a machinist at the roundhouse of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha railroad, having been employed there for 30 years. He was born December 7, 1882, in Sioux City, and lived here since with the exception of several years, residence at St. James and Worthington, Minn. He left for California last January.
Survivors include his widow, Jessie; a son, Charles H. Rowell of Sioux City; his mother, Mrs. C. C. Rowell, also of Sioux City, and a sister, Mrs. W. L. Culver of Marshall, Mo.
The body is being sent to West's funeral home here.
