STERGIOS Boy's FUNERAL TODAY
Rites to Be at 3:30 for Young Bullet Victim

Funeral services for Ivan Stergios, who was accidentally shot and killed on his 16th birthday Sunday in his home at 523 LaFayette street while playing a game of "cop and robber," will be held at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Greek Orthodox church at Sixth and Jennings streets.

Rev. Mr. Pinocsis will officiate and burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery under the direction of Anderson's funeral home.

Ivan was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Stergios, 523 Lafayette street.

The three boys who were with Ivan at the time of the shooting were released by police Monday.

They are Luciano Aguirre, 14, and his brother, Deno, 15, both of 1514 Seventh street, and Joe Schuck, 16, 1606 Seventh street.

Youthful friends of the Stergios lad will be pallbearers at the services today.
