15 April 1936Anton T. Prusha, 66, 115 Bluff street, died in a Sioux City hospital Tuesday morning following a lingering sickness.
Mr. Prusha was born in Czechoslovakia, October 15, 1869. He had been in the United States for the past 58 years and in Sioux City for 35 years. Until about a year ago he had been an employee of the Cudahy Packing company.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Prusha; two brothers, James and Joseph Prusha, and one sister, Mrs. Josephine Budin, all of Omaha.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Westcott-Doughty-Chandler funeral chapel. Rev. A. B. Schwertz, pastor of the Trinify Lutheran church, will officiate and interment will be in Graceland Park cemetery, under the direction of Westcott-Doughty-Chandler funeral home.
