Nicholas Thomas, husband of the former Katherine Hanson, known in Sioux City where she lived for several years, died recently at the Thomas home at Detroit, according to word reaching here Wednesday.

Mr. Thomas was a world war veteran. He was in the restaurant business in Detroit. Parents of Mrs. Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Hanson, reside at LeMars. Surviving Mr. Thomas, in addition to his widow, is an 18-month-old son
