Beverly E. Friedenbach, 74, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at a Sioux City care center.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Friedenbach was born April 11, 1927, in Nora Springs, Iowa, the daughter of Harry J. and Goldie P. (Sharp) Andersen. She moved to Sioux City in 1939 and graduated from Central High School in 1944.

She married Donald P. Friedenbach on Nov. 16, 1953, in Sioux City. She was employed as a clerk for Milwaukee Railroad for 29 years, retiring in 1985.

She was a member of Whitfield United Methodist Church, Senior Center and Women of the Moose Chapter 431.

Survivors include a son, John Friedenbach of Belleville, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Thomas and Hannah.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
