Charles Clements,73, 4040 Monroe street, a Sioux City resident since 1902, died Sunday in a hospital.

Mr. Clements was born February 21, 1874, at Dakota City, Neb. In 1901 he married Birdie Risley at Grandmound, Ia. For about 25 years he operated a grocery store in Morningside and more recently was a city wholesale fruit salesman.

Survivors are the widow, son, Joseph L. and a grandchild all of Sioux City.

Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Winter funeral home. Rev. J. C. Buthman will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery.
