Thor O. Docken, 62, of Newcastle, Neb., died Friday in Newcastle after a long illness. He had resided there since 1918.

Mr. Docken was born September 4, 1883, in Sloan, Ia.

He was a member of the Lutheran church at Albaton, Ia.

Surviving, are the widow, Nora; a daughter, Margie of Newcastle; a son, Arthur of Minneapolis, and six sisters, Mrs. Mary Jacobson of Mapleton, Ia., Mrs. Mabel Johnson of Centerville, S. D., Mrs. Betty Chaussee of Sioux City, Mrs. Mattie Nichols and Mrs. Grace Ewing, both of Onawa, and Mrs. Alice Hanson of Santa Monica, Cal., two brothers, Oscar of Onawa and Harry of Los Angeles; and a grandson.

The O'Toole-Gunn funeral home has charge of arrangements.
