11 April 1946Buel Couch, 86, retired salesman who had been a member of Landmark lodge 103, A. F. & A. M., for nearly 40 years, died last Sunday at the Masonic sanatorium at Bettendorf, Ia. Funeral services and burial were at Bettendorf.
He was born February 2, 1860, at Tiskilwa, Ill., and for many years was a salesman for Reid-Murdoch Co., food distributors, Chicago, with Sioux City in his territory. Following his retirement he made Sioux City his home.
He entered the Masonic sanatorium early in 1945. Until that time he was active in Masonic lodge work. He was a member of Sioux City chapter 26, Royal Arch Masons, Columbia Commandery 18, Landmark lodge and Abu-Bekr Shrine.
