30 March 1946Mrs. Dora Hoisington, 69, 1913 Everett, street, a resident of Sioux City 28 years, died Friday night in a hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Hoisington was born August 25, 1876, at Utica, S. D., and lived near Yankton, S. D., before coming here. She was a member of the Yankton Methodist church.
Survivors include the widower, Albert of Sioux City; a son, Sherman of Rochester, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. H. W. Scott of Sioux City, Mrs. D. N. Shaver of Omaha, and Mrs. J. A. Lethcoe of Rochester; 22 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Nelson-Berger chapel. Rev. C.W. Hart of the church of the Open Bible will officiate.
Interment will be in Floyd cemetery.
