SIOUX CITY | Judith L. Flaa of Arlington Heights, Ill., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at her home.

Services will be noon Saturday at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Height Rd., in Arlington Heights. There will be a prayer service at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., in Arlington Heights. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences can be given at www.GlueckertFH.com.

Judith L. Flaa was born on Aug. 17, 1938, in Sioux City, to Donald and Bernice (Nettelton) O'Rourke. Mrs. Flaa graduated from Heelan Catholic High School in Sioux City in 1956 and later attended the University of South Dakota. She was a former teacher and homemaker. Judith helped her husband with his transportation brokerage company R.G. Flaa and Assoc. Inc. before retiring.

She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed playing bridge.

Judy is survived by her spouse of 54 years, Robert Flaa; her daughters, Laurie (William) Montgomery, Trish Flaa, and Megan (Frank) Hamilton; her grandchildren, Zack and Michelle Montgomery, and Linden Hamilton; and her sister, Patricia O'Rourke-Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Robert Donald Flaa; and her parents.
