Rudolph Paul Kleve, 80, of Worthington, Minn., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1997, at Luverne Community Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Lynch-Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington with the Rev. Bill Blundell officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Kleve was born May 26, 1917, in Sibley, Iowa, the son of William and Minnie (Beckman) Kleve. He attended country school near Sibley.

He served in the United States Army during World War II as a military policeman. On his return to Sioux City he worked for Armour and Co.

He married Helen Glazis in 1946. The couple lived in Sioux City. In 1964, they moved to Worthington, where he worked at the new Armour plant. He retired in 1979.

He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Michael and Raydell Kleve of Plymouth, Minn., and William and Jean Kleve of Worthington; four daughters and their husbands, Gerri and Gary Garrison of Omaha, Neb., Connie and Joe Smith of Clackamus, Ore., Marilynn and Don Cramer of Eugene, Ore,. and Patricia and Rick Morris of Sloan, Iowa.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1969, four brothers and a sister
