Nancy A. Kerr, 76, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Church of the Nativity, with the Rev. Gerald F. Feierfeil officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a parish vigil service at 7 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.

Nancy was born April 6, 1931, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence J. and Evelyn A. (Miller) Kleeman. She lived in Dubuque until 1945, when her family moved to Sioux City. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Sioux City in 1949.

She married Charles A. Kerr on Dec. 6, 1949, in Sioux City. The couple lived in the Leeds area and the family later moved to Sergeant Bluff. She later returned to Sioux City in 1995. She was a homemaker and housewife. Charles died March 25, 2004, in Sioux City.

She was a member of Church of the Nativity. She enjoyed bowling, reading and watching sports on television especially golf and tennis. Her family was very special to her and she enjoyed spending time with them. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother by her family.

She is survived by nine children and spouses, Elizabeth "Betty" and Rick Rohr of Storm Lake, Iowa, Ronald and Judy Kerr of Hornick, Iowa, Barbara and Dale Graham of Dakota Dunes, S.D., Richard and Ruth Kerr of Columbia, S.C., Christopher and Sue Kerr of Yankton, S.D., Peter Kerr and his special friend, Jean Lindblom of Sergeant Bluff, Paul and Mary Kerr of Marion, Iowa, Susan and Ara Keller of Sioux City and Steven and Jennifer Kerr of Lakeville, Minn.; 21 grandchildren, David Rohr, Sara (Rohr) Eckloff, Matt Rohr, Nick Kerr, Kellie Graham, Kimberly (Graham) Ranallo, Jennifer Graham, Cheryl Kerr, Christian Kerr, Jami (Kerr) Stevens, Robert Kerr, C.J. Kerr, Stephany Kerr, Chad Kerr, Drew Kerr, Kayte Kerr, Grayce Kerr, Bonnie Keller, Calvin Keller, Madeline Kerr and Elizabeth Kerr; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Koziol of Scottsdale, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Chloe Kleeman; her son, Charles "Chipper" Kerr; and a grandson, Daniel Rohr.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
