Lucille M. Shurtleff, 74, of Sioux City died Saturday, June 30, 2001, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. The body was cremated. There will be no visitation.

She was born Dec. 6, 1926, in Worthington, Minn., the daughter of Harm and Helen (Fisher) Heidelbrink. She grew up in the Sibley, Iowa, area and had been a longtime Sioux City resident. She worked at General Business, Farner-Bocken, and IBP, where she did office cleaning. Most recently she worked at Burger King.

Survivors include a son, Lennie Shurtleff of Hampton, Va.; and a special friend, Bud Lane of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Heidelbrink; and a sister, Ellie Heidelbrink
