CUSHING, Iowa | Kingston Hayes Krager entered heaven on July 4, 2013, at the Children’s Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., in the arms of his parents.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Nicklas D. Jensen in Holstein, Iowa. Online condolences can be made at nicklasdjensenfh.com.

Kingston was born on July 3, 2013, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. Kingston weighed 4 pounds, 7 ounces.

Throughout the pregnancy there were complications. Kingston got to spend extra time with his mom while on bed rest for 14 weeks. He appeared strong throughout the pregnancy. At birth, Kingston was a fighter, just like he had been for the last 14 weeks. Unfortunately, there were more complications than expected.

Kingston was baptized at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center on July 4, 2013.

Kingston’s short life will always be celebrated on the 4th of July by his parents and family members. He will always be their little firecracker baby. Big brother, Kreighton Krager, was so proud to meet his baby. During Kingston’s short life, he taught his family members about hope and love. Kingston’s parents feel blessed and lucky to have met him.

Kingston is survived by his parents, Kristi and Kyle Krager and big brother, Kreighton Krager of Cushing; grandparents, Orren and Celia Knoffloch of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Deb and Dennis Krager of Holstein, Iowa; great-grandmother, Mable Bogenrief of Beatrice, Neb.; and many other extended family members and friends.

Kingston was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Opal and Edwin Knoffloch, Retha and Glen Cosby, and John Dellinger; paternal great-grandparents, Evelyn and Burdette Bogenrief and Elwayne and Gladys Krager; and great-aunt, Vera Marietta.
