OTO, Iowa -- Lucille Lorraine Gotto, 72, of Oto peacefully passed away on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at United Church of Christ, Rodney, Iowa, with the Rev. Karen Handke officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Sioux Township Cemetery, Smithland, Iowa. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the church. Willman Funeral Home in Rodney is in charge of the arrangements.

Lucille was born on March 26, 1937, at home in Plattsmouth, Neb., the daughter of Lola and Orvel Adkins. Lucille attended Plattsmouth public schools. For the last 10 years, Lucille had worked at the Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, Iowa.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Rene (Gayle) Poradek of St. Paul, Minn., and Sherry (Steve) Gotto of Oto; their father, Robert (Gaylene) Youngberg of Salina, Kan.; her grandchildren, Lacy Dukes and Crystal (Patrick) Sherry of St. Paul, Minn., Stephie, Steven, Nick, Robbie and William Gotto of Oto; her great-grandchildren, Jaelyn Dukes and Paige Sherry of St. Paul; her brothers, Bill (LaVonne) Adkins and Gary (Janice) Adkins, both of Oto; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Lola and Orvel; her infant daughter, Lola Kohn; her husbands, Nick Gotto and Wally Willman; her brothers, Bud, Gerald and Wayne Adkins; and her sisters, Jean Brown, Geraldine Kennedy and Dorothy Murphy.

Lucille was surrounded by her family before and upon her passing. We thank God for her presence in our life.
