Gladys J. (Drew) Mount, 75, Sioux City, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at a local care center following a long illness.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Tom Jacobs, Morningside Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery, Lawton, Iowa. Visitation will be from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Friday with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gladys was born Jan. 19, 1930, daughter of James and Dorothy (Boehm) Moore in Bronson, Iowa. She grew up in Leeds and graduated from Leeds High School in 1948. She married Neilson Drew in 1952 and then married Jesse Mount in 1972.

Gladys worked for First Lutheran Church, R.W. Rice and Co., Retail Data Systems and North Park Senior Living. She was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, camping and playing cards.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin Drew and his wife, Kim, Sergeant Bluff, David Drew and his wife, Jana, Sioux City; two brothers, Earl and Ralph Moore, both of Sioux City; one sister, Mildred Kerkes, Sioux City; six grandchildren, Jamie, Jared, Joshua, Jessica, Jordan and Jenna Drew.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Pamela K. Drew, her parents and a brother, Harold Moore.

Pallbearers will be Jamie, Joshua and Jared Drew, Stuart Moore, Kyle Moore and Mark Moore.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland.
