SIOUX CITY -- Margie A. Stoll, 77, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at her home following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Ave., with the Rev. Ryan Christenson officiating. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Margie was born Nov. 12, 1933, in Sioux City, the daughter of Holland and Bertha (Foss) Law. She grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City schools, graduating from East High School in 1952.

She married Dean F. Stoll on Sept. 12, 1952, in Sioux City. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bridge, cribbage and bingo.

Margie had attended St. James United Methodist Church. Margie also enjoyed fishing and, most of all, spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Dean of Sioux City; two daughters, Deana "Dee" Polak and her husband, George R. Polak Jr. of Dakota Dunes, and Debra Wiemann and her husband, Curtis Wiemann of Sioux City; two sisters, Elma Steckelberg and her husband, Bob of Sioux City, and Norma Law of Sioux City; five grandchildren, Jill Sponder, Elizabeth Barnard, Ben Polak, Jeni Plathe and her husband, Rick, and Holly Breugem and her husband, J.P. "Josh".

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Merle Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland.
