8 December 2011SIOUX CITY -- James Landolt Moonly of Irvine, Calif., formerly of Sioux City, died suddenly Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011.
Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Irvine. A reception will follow the services. Family graveside services will be in El Toro Memorial Park, Lake Forest, Calif. Arrangements are under the direction of O'Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, Calif. Condolences may be sent online to www.oconnormortuary.com.
Jim was born on Coronado Island, Calif., on April 29, 1945. Jim was raised in Sioux City, Iowa, where he graduated from Leeds High School. Following graduation, he attended Wayne State College in Wayne, Neb., where he met his wife, Lynn. After college Jim enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, then worked for a variety of companies in the hardware industry throughout his career.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn; son, Scott; daughter in-law, Amy; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Matthew.
