19 December 2012SIOUX CITY | Linda Kay Daws, 67, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Mechanicsburg. Linda was born July 10, 1945, in Sioux City, the daughter of Dorothy (Muth) Swanson and the late Arthur Swanson.
Linda retired from Pinnacle Health as an LPN after 26 years of dedicated service with the Polyclinic and Seidel hospitals. After retiring, Linda continued to volunteer with hospital organizations.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Red Hat Society. Linda's greatest enjoyment was time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Swanson of Sioux City; her two sons, Brian K. (Angela) Daws of Etters, Pa., and Brice C. (Peggy) Daws of Harrisburg, Pa.; a sister, Marilyn Bride of Sioux City; and three grandchildren, Tyler, Jarod and Logan Daws.
