Note: His mother's maiden name was Twitchell. Crichton was the last name of his father's second wife.

David L Ahrens

David L. Ahrens, 31, 2311 S. Palmetto St., Sioux City, died Wednesday (Aug. 22, 1990) of injuries suffered in a one-vehicle accident in Sioux City.

Services were held Friday at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Sioux City. Rev. Dennis Meinen officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery, under direction of Berkemier funeral home in Sioux City.

Mr. Ahrens was born April 23, 1959, at Akron, la. He lived in Elk Point, S.D., until 1963 when the (family moved to Sioux City. He attended Sioux City schools and graduated from East high school. He was employed by Wells Fargo Co. for five years and was currently employed by Dakota Dunes. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic church.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Harry and Beverly Ahrens, of Sioux City; two sisters and their husbands, Sandra and Tom Kvideria of Sioux City and Deborah and Robert Jeffrey of Correctionville, Ia.; two nieces and one nephew.
