Death takes Woman, 104
7 November 1987

Odessa P. Roberts, 104, 3402 Old Lake Port Rd., died Thursday at her residence following a short illness.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. E.D. Pappadackis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from noon 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts, the former Odessa P. Cisney, was born on June 19, 1883, at Aurora, Iowa. She graduated from Colerige High School in 1901. She married William Robert on May 2, 1904, in Coleridge, Neb. He died on Jan. 6, 1944. Mrs. Roberts lived in Coleridge and Randolph for many years, and has been a resident of Sioux City for the past 51 years.

She was a Presbyterian.

Survivors include four sons, Ross of Red Cloud, Neb., Faye of Randolph,, Neb., Orville of Las Vegas, Nev., and Will of Batesville, Ark.; two daughters, Leafa Bogue of Denver, Colo., and Zelma Eckert of Oakland, Iowa; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
