Peyton Rose Stedman, infant daughter of Brett and Katelyn Stedman, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died shortly after birth, Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.

Private family services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City.

Her family includes her parents, Brett and Katelyn (Kelly) Stedman of Cedar Falls; her grandparents, Shawn and Paula Kelly of Cedar Falls and Dave and Lorrie Stedman of Sioux City; great-grandparents, Ed and JoAnn Herting of Dubuque, Iowa, Connie Kelly of Dubuque, Jean Mogren of Sioux City and Sherrill Stedman of Sac City, Iowa; her great-great-grandmother, Julia Russell of Sac City; aunts and uncles, Ben Stedman, Nicole (Seth) Hershey, Shawn Kelly, Danielle Kelly and Michael Kelly; and a young cousin, Gavin Hershey.
