August 02, 2012Roy D. Levin, 70, of Correctionville passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home in Correctionville, with the Rev. Keith Byers officiating. Burial will be in Correctionville Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service today at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.nicklasdjensenfh.com.
Roy D. Levin was born on Dec. 31, 1941, in Correctionville, to Gordon and Edna (Heckenlively) Levin. He attended school in Correctionville. Roy worked for A-1 Insulation until its closure. He then worked as a general laborer in the Correctionville area.
He is survived by his brothers, Larry Levin of Correctionville and Richard Levin of Wisconsin; sister, Ruth Brinkman of Wisconsin; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Roger, Roy and Jimmy.
