Alfred M. Dymersky, 83, beloved husband of Eva-Jeanne Dymersky and beloved father of Michael, Monica and Marlena, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 29, 2012, when he passed away peacefully from a short term illness.

There will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Alfred was born to Sylvester and Mary Dymersky on Aug. 17, 1928. He married Eva-Jeanne on March 21, 1954. Much of his life was spent in Billings, Mont. Alfred and Eva-Jeanne moved to Sioux City to be closer to family in 2009.

He enjoyed helping friends with farming and ranching as well as hunting, fishing and spending time in the mountains near Red Lodge, Mont.

Alfred leaves behind three children, Michael, Monica, and Marlena; seven grandchildren, Alex, Daniell, Sebastian, Michael, Sean, MaKayla, and Justin; and one great-grandchild.

Welcoming him to heaven and preceding him in death were his wife, Eva-Jeanne; his parents; and his grandson, Tyler.

The family would like to thank the workers at Matney’s Colonial Manor for caring for Alfred with kindness and compassion over the past year.

Alfred and his family would like to thank those who have had a part in making his life easier during these last few years.

The loving family and friends of Alfred will miss his jovial laugh and his ability to make others laugh with him. We look forward to being reunited with him in glory.
