Sharon Jean Paulson-Manchester, 66, of Sioux City passed away from a long illness Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Holy Spirit Retirement Home.

At Sharon’s request, services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service.

Sharon was born on Feb. 25, 1946, in Sioux City, the daughter of Clifford E. and Ella Mae (Bogener) Paulson. She graduated from Riverside High School in 1964.

Sharon married John "Jack" Manchester in 1986. He passed away in 2001. She was a stay-at-home mother.

Survivors include three children from her first marriage, Missy Meinen and her husband, Jeff and their daughter, Ella of Sioux City, William Booe of Omaha, and Jen Booe of McCook Lake, S.D.; brother, Marvin Paulson and his wife, Janice of Sioux City; and her special friends, Jim Williams and Diane Pickering, both of Sioux City.

Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Paulson.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Sharon’s name at Siouxland PACE, 313 Cook S., Sioux City, IA 51103.
