January 18, 2012Dennis M. "Butch" Ross, 58, of Sioux City died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at a local hospital.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff. Interment will be at a later date in Graceland Park Cemetery. Online condolences for the family may be made at www.waterburyfuneralserviceinc.com.
Dennis was born Feb. 3, 1953, in Sioux City, the son of Neil L. and Fern A (Miller) Ross. He attended Sioux City Community Schools, graduating from East High School in 1971. Dennis worked for a number of years in asbestos removal and most recently was employed by R&R Recycling.
He enjoyed all sports.
He is survived by his brother, Vernon Ross (Deborah) of Sioux City; sister, Barbara McGillem (William) of Mount Carmel, Ill.; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Terry, Dave, and Charles; and one sister, Marcia Bennett.
