March 25, 2012SIOUX CITY -- William J. Sivill, 84, of Sioux City died Friday, March 23, 2012 at Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars, Iowa.
Abiding by his wishes, he will be cremated and buried at the Omaha Valley Cemetery near Homer, Neb. Carlsen Funeral Home of Le Mars, Iowa is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through carlsenfuneralhome.com.
William James Sivill was born Nov. 24, 1927 in Homer to John "Jack" and Helen (O'Dell) Sivill. He graduated from Sioux City Central High School. He worked for 35 years as a union iron worker traveling throughout the country erecting communication towers.
Survivors include three sons, David of Merrill, Iowa, Joseph of Sioux City and Thomas of St. George, Utah; and two sisters, Janet Nooney of Sioux City and Rose Eylar of Tulsa, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen O'Dell in 2004.
