April 29, 2012SIOUX CITY -- Emmajean Arlice (Paulson) Zeising, 78, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Private family services will be held Saturday, June 2. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, in Concord Cemetery, Garner, Iowa.
Emmajean Arlice (Paulson) Zeising was born on July 6, 1933, the only child of Mildred (Hein) and Lyiel Paulson of Garner, Iowa.
On March 20, 1955, she was united in marriage to Paul Kenneth Zeising in Garner. She lived in Sioux City prior to moving to Arizona to be near her children. Emmajean attended Morningside College, where she majored in music. As a pianist and organist, she often played the organ and piano at the Unitarian Church in Sioux City and for many family holidays.
She is survived by a daughter, Renee Ann of Young, Ariz.; a son, Paul Kevin and his wife Thu M of Phoenix; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Melinda and Taz, all of Arizona; and eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and a granddaughter, Chenille.
