SIOUX CITY -- Bonnie C. Harbeck, 85, of Sioux City died Friday, March 16, 2012 at a local hospital.

Services will be 7 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Roger Madden officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Walthill Cemetery at Walthill, Neb. Visitation with the family present will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Waterbury Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie was born in Walthill, Neb. on April 23, 1930, the daughter of Antone J and Ruby E (Boggs) Ueding. She attended Walthill Public Schools.

She was united in marriage with Bill Hittle Sr. in 1947 and the couple later divorced. She then married Clarence Harbeck in 1956. The couple lived in California and Nebraska, before moving to Sioux City in 1977. Bonnie worked in many different fields, as well as being a wife and mother.

She enjoyed every person she came into contact with, as well as sewing, gardening and sewing.

She is survived by her son, William Hittle and his wife Charlene of Homer, Neb.; her four daughters, Ruby Shaw and her husband Merle of Onawa, Iowa, Mary Bodlak and her husband Ken of Doniphan, Neb., Becky Bring and her husband Jeff of Lincoln, Neb., and Sherry Anderson of Sioux City. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; a sister, Shirley Strom; and a brother, Theodore "Ike" Ueding.
