May 16, 2012SIOUX CITY | Donald J. Biegler, 84, of West St. Paul, Minn., formerly of Sioux City, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2012, after a long battle with cancer.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of St. Joseph, 1154 Seminole Ave, West St. Paul. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Willwerscheid West Heights Chapel in West St. Paul.
Formerly of Sioux City, he was a 1945 graduate of East High School and later received an engineering degree from Iowa State. He was employed for many years at Twin City Brick Company then later at Northern States Power Company.
Survivors include his sons, John Biegler and Bob (LeAnn) Biegler; daughter, Susan Trejo; grandchildren, Brennan, Brant, Gabriel, Alyssa, David, Rachele and Mike; three great-grandchildren Colin, Dilon and Lauren; brother, Richard (Nora) Biegler; sister, Marge (Del) Anderson; and brothers-in-law, Paul (Jane) Tschida and Greg (Sandy) Tschida.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann; parents, William and Mabel Biegler; brother, Robert; and sisters, Dolores and Dorothy.
