SIOUX CITY -- Dolores S. "Dee" Oregon, 46, of Sioux City passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Charles Wolff officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Dee was born on March 5, 1965, in Lisbon, Portugal. She was raised in the Azures Islands and at age 13, in 1978, the family moved to California. Dee became a United States citizen in 1983. It was a very proud moment in her life.

Dee lived in Philadelphia for about eight years, and later in Germany for more than two years. She moved to Sioux City in 1992. On April 29, 2003, Dee was united in marriage to Mark Oregon. Dee worked as a custodian for the Sioux City Schools and later for the city at the airport.

Dee's favorite place to go was the beach. She enjoyed her time in San Francisco going to car shows with her husband. She also enjoyed the old market in Omaha.

Dee is survived by her husband, Mark; her children, Brianna and Kieron Ahrens of Sioux City, and Natasha and Brian Naldzin of Philadelphia, Pa.; her stepchildren, Ashley and Guy Oregon of Sioux City; her father, Anibal Jurge of California; and her siblings, Frank and Cindy Jurge of California, Rusa and Larry Milliken of California, Connie and Bill of California, and Helena Garcia of California.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria.
