SIOUX CITY -- Therese G. "Terry" Will, 62, of Sioux City died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, following a short illness at Touchstone Living Center with her husband holding her hand.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Lutheran Church, with the Rev. James Travis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Terry was born Dec. 31, 1948, in Sioux City, the daughter of Morris and Annabelle "Pat" (O'Mally) Helin. She grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School in 1967.

She married the love of her life, Richard Will on March 5, 1967 in Sioux City. Terry worked for St. Luke's Regional Medical Center for 10 years, for Gateway from 1990 to 2001 and then for the Siouxland Community Blood Bank.

Terry was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and the Dorcas Circle. She was active in the Mercy Red Dress Ambassadors, Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary and Women's Night Out.

Her family was first and foremost the most important thing in her life. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her grandson's dogs, Roco and Layla. She also enjoyed entertaining people and watching the Time Life Movie Network with her daughters as well as going to the movies with family and friends. Terry was a people person who always had a smile on her face.

Survivors include her husband, Richard of Sioux City; three children, Kevin Will of Sergeant Bluff, Kristin Rubalcava and her husband, Jose of Sioux City, and Kimberly Reinert and her husband, Jon of Sioux Falls, S.D.; one sister, Judy Helin of Sioux City; two grandchildren, Joseph Rubalcava and his fiancee, Kalie Ehlers and Christopher Rubalcava; two great-grandchildren, Carley and Chance and nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Karla Will.

Pallbearers will be Jose, Joseph and Christopher Rubalcava, Chad Hultgren, Ken Early and Nick Privett. Honorary pallbearer will be Christopher Rubalacava.

A memorial has been established in Terry's name.
