19 April 2011SIOUX CITY -- Steven "Rat" Thomas, 52, of Sioux City died Thursday, April 14, 2011, in an Indianapolis, Ind. hospital following a lengthy illness.
Services will be at a later date.
Steven was born in Sioux City on May 2, 1958, the son of Jesse and Jean Thomas. He attended Sioux City Public Schools and was employed at various jobs.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music and spending time with family. He was an avid fan of the Indianapolis 500 and the Colts. He loved boating on the river.
Survivors include a son, Steven Thomas of Nebe, Ill.; two brothers, Doug Thomas and Danny Thomas, both of Sioux City; two sisters, Mary Radley and Betty Rouse, both of Sioux City; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents.
We love and will miss you, Brother.
