Services will be 2 p.m. June 5 at Morningside Ministries in Boerne. Arrangements are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville.

Virginia was born Oct. 2, 1919, in Sioux City to Cecil Cochran and Bessie (Bean) Cochran. She attended Sioux City Central High School. She graduated from Oklahoma State University.

She married William P. Binger on June 10, 1944, in Chicago, Ill. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, William Binger of Kerrville; three daughters, Susan Oberlander of Santa Fe, N.M., Nancy Peterson of Corvallis, Ore., and Cindy Fort of Kerrville; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children, Mary Lee Binger and Mark Binger.
