22 May 2011SIOUX CITY -- LeRoy O. "Lee" Buechler, 59, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May, 18, 2011, at a Sioux City hospital
Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
LeRoy was born Nov. 12, 1951, in Sioux City, the son of Roy and Emma (Rosenbaum) Buechler. He was a lifelong Sioux City resident. LeRoy graduated from East High School in 1970.
He married Debbie McHenry on Aug. 30, 1974, in Sioux City. He worked for Chesterman Company for 40 years. He loved to fish, hunt, bowl, playing pool, darts and playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; one daughter and her husband, Kristie and Chris Foreman of Le Mars, Iowa; two sons, Johnny and his wife, Linda, and Joe Buechler and his girlfriend, Kim Larson, all of Sioux City; two sisters and their husbands, Fran and Don Winkel and Alice and Ken Crandall; one brother and his wife, John and Shirley Coates; seven grandchildren, James, Cheyenne, Briana, Jonathan, Michael, Elizabeth and Leann; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Florence Gorley; nephews, Randy Gorley and Robbie Wilson; and a great-nephew, Alex Kluver.
