16 February 2011SIOUX CITY -- Jean L. Schroeder, 84, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at her residence.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Jeff Adel officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Jean, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Bradstreet) Moss, was born July 30, 1926, in Millston, Wis. She married John W. Schroeder on Feb. 7, 1942.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crafts. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Jean is survived by her son, Don Schroeder of Sioux City; a sister, Loretta Grider of Arlington, Texas; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John.
