SIOUX CITY -- Cynthia Ann (Evans) Sheehan, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Dec. 23, 2010 at her home in Carrollton, Texas after a long battle with breast cancer.

Cynthia was born Oct. 8, 1954. She served as class president and graduated from Leeds High School with honors in 1972.

She married her high school sweetheart, Lloyd Sheehan, that same year and was married for more than 38 years. Cynthia and Lloyd moved their family to the Dallas Texas area in 1984. Cynthia went on to graduate from the University of Texas in Dallas with summa cum laude and went on to get her master's degree from the same university. She worked at the Trade Group for more than 25 years and was the director of finance when she passed away.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Sheehan; her three children, Allen Sheehan, Amy MacPherson and Angie Sheehan; three grandchildren, Ashton, David and Addison; her mother, Genevieve Evans; sisters, Linda Painter and Cherrie Stusse; brothers, Steve, Jeff, and Greg Evans. She will also be missed by several other family members, good friends; and long time co-workers.

Mrs Sheehan was preceeded in death by her father, Glen Evans.

The family would like for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
