2 April 2002MOVILLE, Iowa -- Wallace "Wally" Rundall, 77, of Kingsley, Iowa, formerly of Moville, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, in Kingsley.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Evangelical Church of Moville, with the Rev. Ken Brakefield officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Christy-Smith McCulloch Chapel in Moville.
Mr. Rundall was born Jan. 31, 1925, in Moville, the son of Wallace Oscar and Viola (Broadbooks) Rundall. He was raised in Moville and graduated from Moville High School.
He married Shirley LaVonne Morey on June 8, 1952, in Moville. He was a farmer and cattle feeder. He had been a resident of Moville his entire life except for the last two years, when he lived in Kingsley.
He was a member of Evangelical Church of Moville and the Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley LaVonne of Kingsley; two sons, Terry Rundall and his wife, Lilly, and Mike Rundall, all of Moville; a daughter and her husband, Renee and Vince Miller of Omaha; three sisters, Erma Christensen of Hartley, Iowa, Ellen and her husband, Harold Carter of Sioux City, and Ardis and her husband, Jim Ledbetter of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren, John and Sarah Rundall and Shelby and Payton Miller; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a half sister, Hildreth Wickstrom.
Pallbearers will be Roger Wilson, Brad Nixon, Chuck Holst, Leonard Hanson and Ben Flathers. Honorary pallbearers will be Lyle Scheelhease, Curtis Jones, Leo and Lyle Groth, Loren Neville and Terry Petersen.
