15 October 2010SIOUX CITY -- Jennie Marie (Headid) Mulneaux, 90, of Clinton, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at a Clinton hospital.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at St. Thomas Orthodox Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. Paul Hodge officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. today at the church.
Jennie was born April 24, 1920, in Winner, S.D., to Wolf and Sadie (Stevens) Headid.
She married Cecil Mulneaux on Sept. 24, 1942. They operated a motel in Denison, Iowa, for more than 25 years. She was also a waitress at Green Gables in Sioux City for many years.
Survivors include her son, Bill of Clinton, Iowa; a brother, Roy Headid of Sioux City; two granddaughters, Lori Nichols and Ephony Horton, both of Clinton; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Elizabeth Skaff, Emma Yates and Nellie Skaff; and five brothers, George, Dick, Merch, Jim and Mahlon Headid.
