28 October 2010SIOUX CITY -- Larry E. Trometer, 62, of Highgate Center, Vt., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, in Highgate Center following a lengthy illness.
The body was cremated, and private graveside services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Local arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Larry was born Jan. 17, 1948, in Sioux City. He was the son of Laurence T. and Teresa G. (LaScala) Trometer. Larry was raised in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. He was a carpenter by trade.
Survivors include two brothers, Donald Trometer and his wife, Cheri of Sioux City, and Mike Trometer and his wife, Sandy of Elk Point, S.D.; a sister, Laurie Peterson and her husband, Don of Sioux City; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James P. Trometer.
