13 June 2010SIOUX CITY -- Donna R. Diskey, 79, of Sioux City died Thursday, June 10, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Ave., with the Rev. Ryan Christianson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to service Monday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Donna was born June 24, 1930, in Sioux City, to William E. and Alfreda M. (Teska) Moss. She graduated from East High School.
She married Donald B. Diskey on March 9, 1962, in Sioux City. Donald died in April 1984. Donna worked for Wincharger, Zenith, Aalfs Manufacturing, the Hilton Inn and Sam's Club. Donna had been a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Doris Moss of Sioux City; a brother-in-law, Harold Pettit of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, James F. Moss; a sister, Bonnie Pettit; an infant brother; and a nephew, Jimmy E. Moss.
