SIOUX CITY -- Ardella "Della" (Weisenberger) Wockenfuss, 80, of Sioux City, formerly of Ipswich S.D., passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at the Sunrise Retirement Home in Sioux City.

Services will be 10 a.m. today at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ipswich, with the Rev. Mark Gullerud officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, S.D. Arrangements are under the direction of Gramm Funeral Home in Ipswich. Online guest register available at www.grammfuneralhome.com.

She is survived by her seven sons, Darvin (Hazel) Wockenfuss of Panama City Beach, Fla., Duane (Wendy) Wockenfuss of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jim (Jan) Wockenfuss of Glen Carbon, Ill., Gene (Callie) Wockenfuss of Madison, S.D., Gary (Kari) Wockenfuss Weeping Water, Neb., John (Deb) Wockenfuss of Sioux City, Jared (Sandy) Wockenfuss of Sherman, Texas; 15 grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Alicia, Jeremy, Shannon, Stephanie, Timothy, Ryan, Wade, Cory, Kyle, Cody, Rebecca, Blake, and Anna; 15 great-grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren, Matt, Josh, Jennifer, Scott, Josh, Chris, Victoria, Abby, Angie, and Mark; four great-stepgrandchildren; one brother, LeRoy (Vera) Weisenberger of Groton, S.D.; one sister, Betty (Edgar) "Woody" Scruggs of Pueblo, Colo.; two nieces; one nephew; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Herbert Wockenfuss; and her parents, Gottlieb and Emma (Treft) Weisenberger.
