Funeral Services Held Sat, for Clarence Miller
Funeral services were held for Clarence Miller, 73, of Moville, Saturday July 5, 1975 at 10:00 a.m. in the McCulloch Funeral Home at Moville. The Rev. Dr John A. Dowd officiated. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery. Mrs. Roger Martin provided organ selections.
Casketbearers were Messrs. James E. Anderson, James Dixon, Leo Dixon, Glen Lighthall, Ralph Thomas and Clifford Warren.
Mr. Miller, son of Alfred Miller and Laura Kropf Miller was born October 11, 1901, near Schleswig. He attended Woodbury County schools. He married Marie Anna Krueger Feb. 3, 1926. They farmed in the Climbing Hill and Moville areas. Mrs. Miller died in 1939. Mr. Miller moved to Moville in 1942 and worked for the Woodbury County Highway Department 28 years.
Mr. Miller died July 1, 1975 following a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one sister, Mrs. Gerhardt (Luella) Mesz.
Survivors include a son, Lauren a. of rural Anthon; two sisters, Mrs. Pete (Lillian) Zeglin and Mrs. Leslie (Sylvia) Engelking, both of rural Anthon and a grandson, Lyle Miller.
