SIOUX CITY -- Brian L. Geesaman, 46, of Sioux City died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Matthew Miller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Brian was born Oct. 5, 1963, in Sioux City, to Rudolph and Darlene (Graham) Geesaman. He grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City Schools. He graduated from Central High School.

Brian enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Royals on TV.

Survivors include two brothers and a sister, John Geesaman of Vancouver, Wash., Robert Geesaman of Whiting, Iowa, and Linda Reed of Orange, Calif.; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Rod Cummings, Ron St. Pierre, Mike Whitmore, Devon Cummings, Kevin Paul, Alan Dykstra, Chad and Michael Geesaman.
