DANBURY, Iowa -- Paul J. Fitzpatrick, 82, of Omaha, formerly of Danbury, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, in Omaha.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Omaha. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Omaha, with military rites conducted by Benson VFW Post 2503. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a vigil service at 7 p.m., at West Center Chapel in Omaha.

Survivors include his wife, Lois D. Fitzpatrick; son, Steven M. Fitzpatrick and wife, Linda of Sioux City; daughters, Paula M. Stone and Carla J. Fitzpatrick; sisters: Dorothy (Dwayne) Hupke of Sioux City, Carol (John) Maxwell, Connie (Robert) Dugan; brother, James A. (Suzanne) Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Jason (Tammie) Dickens, Rebecca Stone, Benjamin Stone, Christopher (Jolene) Fitzpatrick, Timothy (Maegan) Fitzpatrick, Michael Fitzpatrick and Jennifer Fitzpatrick; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ruth Fitzpatrick, and sisters, Rosemary Bauer, Marjorie Ashe and Beverly White.

Memorials may be directed to Josie Harper Hospice House.
