ONAWA, Iowa -- Donna Rose Kuehl, 71, of Onawa died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Elmwood Care Centre in Onawa.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, with Dora Maxine Kuehl officiating. Burial will be in Little Sioux Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.
Donna was born Dec. 10, 1930, in Little Sioux, Iowa, the daughter of Donald H. and Myrtle (Bothwell) Kuehl. She attended school in Blencoe, Iowa.

She was a member of Blencoe United Church of Christ. Among her favorite pastimes were gardening, handwork, playing cards and word search puzzles.

Survivors include a brother and his wife, Glen "Buzz" and Alyce of Gravois Mills, Mo.; four sisters, Dora Maxine Kuehl of Santa Maria, Calif., Leota and her husband, Milton Sorenson of Sioux City, Sharron and her husband, Perry Thrift of Whiting, Iowa, and Linda and her husband, Lynn Reed of Onawa; a sister-in-law, Iris Kuehl of Council Bluffs, Iowa; a stepgrandmother, Nora Gunderson of Onawa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold and Donald Jr.; and a sister, Norma Jean Caldwell.
