REV. ARNOLD HUEWE

Remsen special—Rev. Arnold Huewe, Chaplain of Holy Spirit retirement home in Sioux City, died early Tuesday (Jan. 4, 1977) at Sioux City.

Funeral services will be at St. Michael’s church, Leeds, with the time to be set. He had been a former pastor there.

He was ordained May 31, 1936, and served pastorates at Granville, Fort Dodge, Madrid, Sioux City and Hospers, after which he sent to Holy Spirit.

Survivors are a brother, O. H. Huewe of Remsen; and three sisters, Adela Huewe, Remsen; Mrs. Mike (Thekla) Lynch, Sioux Falls; and Mrs. Tom (RoseMary) Cassidy.

Father Huewe was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, including his twin sister, Sister Delores Huewe, O.S.F., Dubuque.
