Frank E. Lowell, 89, Sioux City, died Saturday, June 20, 1992, at Matney Westside Manor after a
long illness.

Graveside services were at 3 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City, with Rev. Dennis Tevis of Crescent Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Visitation was from 1 p.m. to service time at Christy Morningside Funeral Home.

Mr. Lowell was born Dec 7, 1902, at Beloit, Iowa, and was raised in the Hawarden area. He married Sadie Carr Feb. 16,1925, in Le Mars. The couple made their home in the Hawarden area until moving to Sioux City in 1949. She died Aug. 9,1978, at Sioux City. He had been a truck mechanic at the Chevrolet Garage at Hawarden and at CJ. Murray Co., Sioux City. He retired in December 1967.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Letha Parkhurst of Lake Elstinore, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grand children and two great-great- grandchildren.

He also was preceded in death by a son, Donald; a daughter, Edna Borg; four sisters and three brothers.
