Susan M. DeBuhr, 48, of Elk Point, died Friday, Oct. 10, 1992, at Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elk Point, with the Rev. Ed Larkin and the Rev. Dale George concelebrating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery, Sioux City, under Anderson Funeral Home in Elk Point.

Mrs. DcBuhr's, the former Susan M. Sievers,was born Aug. 15, 1944, in Sioux City. She graduated from Heelan High School and attended St. Mary's College in Omaha. She married John "Jack" L. DeBuhr April 4, 1964, in Sioux City. She worked at Prairie Estates Care Center prior to her illness. She was a member of Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include four sons, John William of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Robert Merle and his wife Angel of Sioux City, Patrick Joseph and his wife Susanne, and Michael David, all of Elk Point; her parents, William F. Sr. and Louise Sievers of Sioux City; two brothers and their wives, William F. Jr. and Mary and Robert H. and Sandra, all of Sioux City; two grandchildren, seven nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise.Renollet.,

A memorial has been established with St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elk Point.
